Samsung biological analysis patent app has your best heart at interest

In Patent-application-land, the hills roll on forever, while buttercups gently ripple with the breeze. Anything is possible in Patent-application-land. In this particular filling, Samsung lays out some ideas about helping you to keep your health in check. An "internet phone" and a "biological analysis device" would combine to send your vitals off to a diagnosis server, hospital or remote doctor. There's also a provision for the use of "biochips," which we hope refers to a data gathering medium, and not a half-time snack. While we're not sure if this was a precursor to the freshly announced S-health service, if this ever came to be, at least you wouldn't need to leave the house to get that agoraphobia diagnosis.

'Hunger Games' Director Gary Ross Circles 'Houdini'

After turning down 'Games' sequel 'Catching Fire,' 'The Secret Life of Houdini' may be next on Ross' plate.

"Hunger Games" fans were dismayed when director Gary Ross released a statement saying he wasn't going to helm the film's sequel, "Catching Fire." His previous works have been few and far between. Before adapting the dystopian novel, Ross directed "Pleasantville" in 1998 and "Seabiscuit" in 2003, and fans wondered if he would disappear off Hollywood's radar for a while. But Ross' next project might happen sooner rather than later.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Ross is in talks with Summit to direct "Houdini," an adaptation of the book "The Secret Life of Houdini: The Making of America's First Superhero" by William Kalush and Larry Sloman. While recounting the master escape artist's life from poverty to fame, the biography suggests that the magician who commanded the attention of countless audiences worked as a spy for Britain and the Secret Service.

In Lionsgate's own statement on Gary Ross' departure from "The Hunger Games" franchise, they wrote, "[Gary Ross] did an incredible job on the first film and we are grateful for his work. This will not be the end of our relationship, as we consider Ross to be part of the Lionsgate family and look forward to working with him in the future."

Since Lionsgate bought Summit earlier this year, it's quite possible this is the other project they had in mind for the director. THR also reports that Summit optioned the rights to the book back in March of 2009 and their goal is to turn it into an action franchise in the same vein as "Indiana Jones" and "Sherlock Holmes." Noah Oppenheim already wrote the script, but having penned every screenplay he's directed, it's possible Ross may want to edit or re-write it if he signs on for the project.

Coincidentally, THR notes that Francis Lawrence, the director who signed on for "Catching Fire," is attached to his own Houdini venture for Columbia Pictures.

Jenelle Evans Boob Job Pic: All Riiiiiight!

Troubled Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans has made good on her threat to get fake boobs, and boy is she psyched about it from the looks of this Twitter pic.

One of the reality star's best friends shared a photo from inside the plastic surgeon's office this morning, with Jenelle right about to go under the knife.

The caption: "Ready to go and get new boobies!!!!"

Words to live by, people. Words to live by.

Jenelle Evans Gets Plastic Surgery

Thumbs up for a new rack! Woo hoo!!

While Jenelle hasn't said much about her decision to undergo surgery, E! said last month that she simply "got tired of having small breasts" and after much deliberation, "decided on a full 'C' cup because she does not want to go too big."

That's a relief.

No word on whether Kieffer Delp is psyched about the new merchandise, or when we can expect revealing pics of the new C-cups on Twitter. Knowing @PBandJenelly_1, we would guess within a couple of weeks at the latest.

Genevieve Cook, Ex-Girlfriend of President Obama, Reveals His "Sexual Warmth" in New Book

Genevieve Cook, an ex-girlfriend of President Obama, shares some intimate details about their relationship in a new book about the Commander-in-Chief.

Barack Obama: The Story, by Pulitzer Prize winning journalist David Maraniss, is the most thorough account of the President's life not written by Obama.

Vanity Fair published excerpts Wednesday. While The Story contains no sordid, shocking tales of impropriety, it portrays Obama as extremely ambitious.

Obama's autobiography Dreams From My Father, while generally true, makes him look less calculating and motivated by his own career, in other words.

Genevieve Cook, Barack Obama

Barack Obama: The Story also goes into much greater detail about his early life, including romantic relationships, such as that with Genevieve Cook.

Using Obama’s writings and ex-girlfriends’ diaries, Maraniss paints a picture of Obama as an intense, conflicted and sometimes brooding intellectual.

It was that intelligence that drew Cook to Obama after a chance meeting at that East Village apartment gathering, according to Maraniss' book.

The future President, who in 1983 was a recent graduate of Columbia University, began chatting up the assistant teacher at a party that Christmas.

Obama apparently earned Cook’s endorsement, as they went on a date just days later and she spent that night at his tiny Manhattan apartment.

While sitting on an orange beanbag chair, the two bonded over the time each spent in Indonesia as youths, then exchanged phone numbers.

“I think maybe he cooked me dinner,” she wrote. “Then we went and talked in his bedroom. And then I spent the night. It all felt very inevitable."

Cook remembers that Barack Obama also used to spend Sundays in his room wearing a sarong, drinking coffee and solving crossword puzzles.

She described the room as a “a mixture of smells that so strongly speak of his presence, his liveliness, his habits ... running sweat, Brut spray deodorant, smoking, eating raisins, sleeping, breathing.”

And while Cook wrote about Obama’s “sexual warmth,” she felt he sometimes kept her at arm’s length ... and when she said “I love you,” he often responded “thank you” rather than “I love you, too.”

Barack first met his future wife, First Lady Michelle Obama, in 1989.
