Avoid Renting to avoid Rental Remorse - Seattle Real Estate ...

If you want to have more money, always avoid renting. Owning something outright is always more desirable than paying for an overpriced apartment rental. Remember, your wealth is determined by how much you keep. When you rent, you not accumulating assets and your money is not going towards anything.

People rent everything from furniture, tv and electronics. While these expenditures often seem to satisfy instant gratification, they add up over the course of a lifetime. Not only does renting cost extra, it is a finaincial liability and the lenders are responsible for the damages.

Don?t rent electronic devices, extravagent fashion items or home decorations. There are some exceptions to the rule in moderation. Renting a movie is more economical these days then going to a movie. Renting a car may be unavoidable if your car is in the shop but again very unlikely on a regular basis. If you don?t need it don?t buy it.
