We are looking for an outgoing, talented marketing professional! This exciting position will be in charge of overseeing all marketing aspects in the Canadian market. The role will also act in a supporting function to the Canada outside Sales Team, while undertaking projects of their own responsibility. This candidate will act as the liaison between HQ and Canadian Offices. Tremendous opportunity to grow with a top travel and leisure company!

Specific job Functions:

1) CAD marketing plans and annual budget: -Responsible to negotiate marketing plans with all agent preferred partners and trade publications. Execute marketing plans by putting ads together or providing any content requested. Assist with the sales and marketing support of our key tour operator and travel agency partnerships. Provide day to day support to them on marketing plans agreed. This includes the supply of content for relevant itineraries, images as required, approving their brochure pages for their various brochure editions within their deadlines, as well as coordinating any other co-op marketing activity agreed. -Ensure budgets are maintained and allocated appropriately across each agent partner. -Implement, plan and project for new sales accounts. -Code all Canada marketing expenditure to ensure accurate budget reporting, and ROI measurement. 2) Consumer and agent tradeshows/events:Determine agent tradeshows/events in which Collette should be participating and independently coordinate the marketing strategy for each show. This includes all planning and implementation; staffing, resources, merchandise and marketing for each event. Determine which marketing tactics are most effective for each show (i.e. email, direct mail, show event, giveaways, etc.)This may entail weekend and evening work. This will also include the after show follow up for all new sales leads acquired and managing the fulfillment of any special requests from consumers.

3) Public Relations: Work with the Canadian trade publications in negotiating and executing marketing plan to reach agents. Assist with the day to day PR enquiries and requests from publications. Work internally with PR team to ensure publications receive the newest offers and updates about Collette Vacations.

4) Agent, group and retail channel support: -Production and supply of posters, POS material and marketing literature to our various customers including group organizers, coach operators and travel agencies. -Providing telephone support to group organizers, coach operators and travel agencies who require advice and assistance on marketing our tours both on and offline. -Implementing agreed co-operative activity for group organizers, coach operators and travel agencies within set budget.

5) Other responsibilities include: -Champion the brochure fulfillment process for direct customer enquiries and group customers, as well as the relationship with our fulfillment agency. This includes assignment of source codes and promotional codes to marketing activities and briefing the Inside and Outside Sales Teams. -Assist with the production of brochures for Canada market. This includes liaising with the design agency on page production, assisting with sourcing imagery from relevant tourist boards, as well as ensuring the smooth running of the page approval process with our various suppliers and internal departments (Product, Pricing, Marketing etc) and external partners. -Assist in providing content for all online and offline marketing campaigns to groups, consumers and travel agents weekly and monthly as per schedule agreed. -Coordinate all familiarization tours for Canadian travel agents and groups, as well as regional meetings for Outside Sales Team. -Maintain quality of content on Collette Worldwide website and management of the special offers appearing on the website in conjunction with Head Office -Maintain special offers and content appearing for Collette on the VISIT USA website, AITO websites and any other tourist board or partner websites -Manage all incentives implemented to our travel agents, customers, whether this is travel agents, group organizers or direct consumers. -Manage the Messaging and Forum of the dedicated website for travel agents. Respond to inquiries and develop content for the Forum facility available to our agent partners. This also includes developing new ideas to implement and encourage additional users to join as well as continued participation from all registered users to date.

The successful candidate must possess: ?Ability to carry out independent judgment on projects by determining if a project should be undertaken and determining a priority order to execute multiple projects. ?Strong organization skills ? (position will be overseeing a substantial number of projects) simultaneously with various deadline dates ?Ability to work quickly in a fast paced environment ?Ability to multi task at a high level ?Proficient at Excel and Power Point ?Strong communicator ? (position will be working with numerous internal and external stakeholders to effectively drive successful marketing campaigns/tactics) ? Problem-solver with the ability to work through challenges ?Creativity (to aid in development of strategic marketing plan) ?Ability to travel. 30-40% travel throughout the year to the Toronto office in Canada. ?B.S. degree in marketing or related field and 5-7 years of work experience with a proven track record for executing and delivering tangible results. MBA preferred
