Under light rain and cloudy skies, the 2011 U.S. Open golf tournament is under way from Congressional Country Club.
So how can you tune in this year?
ESPN and NBC are sharing coverage of the 2011 U.S. Open in order to bring you as much action as possible.
On Thursday and Friday, ESPN will have coverage from 10 a.m. EDT to 3 p.m. EDT. NBC will then take over for two hours, from 3 p.m. EDT to 5 p.m. EDT, and then hand it back over to ESPN for the final hour of coverage, from 5 p.m. EDT to 6 p.m. EDT.
This weekend, NBC?s live coverage begins at 2 p.m. EDT and continues until 8 p.m. EDT on Saturday.? Coverages starts a 30 minutes earlier on Sunday, airing from 1:30 p.m. EDT until whenever the tournament ends.
There is no live TV coverage prior to those afternoon starts on NBC.
